-Cultural perception differences: Western= Earth, Air, Fire, Water
Eastern=Earth, Wood, Metal, Fire, Water
-"We are surrounded by media which have differences in concentration, temperature, etc.
There is tension between these differences. This causes surface pressure which is released in explosion. This is an event. Every event can be seen as an explosionary attempt to relieve the tension in the differences."
-"We can understand form, but not substance." However, form is not measurable because of constant change. All measures are subjective, for we can only measure what we make with something we make.
-We see patterns all around us... sand, trees, lungs, kidneys, weather, etc.
*Gene also explained some pattern applications that can be used with agricultural and architectural designs
